Stoke keen on Spurs striker

Stoke City are reportedly the latest club to have joined the race to sign Tottenham striker Peter Crouch before the transfer window closes.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has previously this summer insisted that he is not interested in selling the England international, but reports have suggested he could be willing to sell for the right price.

Everton have also been linked with the former Liverpool striker and could decide to sell Steven Pienaar in a £15million deal in order to fund a move for Crouch.

Crouch has also been linked with a host of other Premier League clubs this summer.

Stoke City striker Dave Kitson could be on his way to Championship side Portsmouth in a loan deal.
