Stoke City have reject a bid from Norwich City for forward Jonathan Walters, according to Talksport.
The Canaries were keen on drafting in the Republic of Ireland international as they look to finish assembling a squad that can stave off an immediate return to the Championship.
They tabled an offer of £1.5m for Walters, though Potters manager Mark Hughes has no intention of doing business.
Walters moved to Stoke from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2010, and has so far racked up two hundred and sixteen appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring fifty goals.
Prior to his move to Ipswich, he had spells with Chester City, Wrexham, Scunthorpe, Hull City, Barnsley, Crewe Alexandra, Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers while he has been capped thirty-three times for his country, scoring six goals.
Norwich and Stoke face each other at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon, and you can back both teams to score at 5/6.
