The Telegraph understand that Stoke City are set for a winter clear-out, with Glen Johnson and Charlie Adam among those set for a move away.
Manager Mark Hughes is looking to move some of his senior players on and both of the aforementioned members of his squad are the wrong side of thirty.
Johnson has played just three times in the Premier League so far this season, with just two of those appearances coming from the start while Adam has played just two minutes of league football, coming off the bench in last month’s 1-0 win over Watford.
Both players could be set for a move when the transfer window reopens in January as the Potters look to trim their wage bill, while another player who could be on his way out of the Bet 365 Stadium in Stephen Ireland.
The thirty-one year old hasn’t featured since May 2016 and has a contract which is set to expire next month.
