Premier League outfit Stoke City are exploring an option to sign Porto on-loan Netherlands defender on a permanent deal.
Having initially struggled to gain footing with the Potters, the 24-year-old centre-back has been in superb form with his dramatic upturn earning a wide-spread praise from manager Mark Hughes.
The Welshman has confirmed to the local media that Stoke City will look to sign Indi on permanent basis during the January transfer window as Porto already deeming their defender surplus to the requirements at the Estadio do Dragao.
Bruno Martins Indi’s technical ability and strong, commanding displays at the back have helped Stoke City to the ongoing six-match unbeaten run in the Premier League which has allowed Hughes’ men to climb to 12th place in the league.
The experienced Netherlands international defender has made eight Premier League appearances since his summer arrival and has went on to help the Potters concede just four goals during their formidable run.
Indi’s performances have earned him a recall to the Netherlands squad for forthcoming games against Belgium and Luxembourg.
