Stoke City are interested in signing Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt on loan, the Mail Online understands.
However, Hoops’ manager Harry Redknapp would prefer a permanent deal for the Morroco international, who was recently sent home from the clubs pre-season training camp in Devon.
The 24 year old has a reputation of being a trouble maker, and was reportedly fined for refusing to take part in a weight check and turning up late for training.
He joined QPR on loan from Tottenham Hotspur for the end of the 2008/09 season and then again for the entirety of the following campaign.
He made his switch to Loftus Road permanent in 2010, and went on to play a key part in helping Rangers back to the Premier League for the first time in sixteen years.
He was awarded the Football League Player of the Season, before clinching the club’s Young Player of the Year award in 2011/12.
