Lazio are about to make a purchase for the future. Strahinja Pavlovic is expected to become the new Lazio player this week, as the Serbian has arrived in Rome to complete the medical. If he passes it, the teenage centre-back from Partizan will join the Serie A outfit.
However, he will not be staying in Rome for much longer. The deal between the two clubs is that Lazio pay 5.5 million euros for the talented, 194 centimetres tall defender, but also that he will be staying at Partizan for the remainder of the 2019-20 season. The Serbian club will not have any add-ons and sell-on percentages added into the contract.
Pavlovic is a starting centre-back for Partizan ever since making his senior debut in February and he will be needed next Thursday, when the black-and-white are playing their match of the season, the second leg of the Europa League play-off against Norway’s Molde.
