Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni has confirmed interest in Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi and Siena striker Mattia Destro.
The talented coach has done well to be offered a new contract at Giuseppe Meazza following some impressive results in the second part of the season and it appears he will be given an opportunity to rebuild the squad ahead of the new season.
Giuseppe Meazza will be a busy place in the summer transfer window, with numerous squad changes expected, and Andrea Stramaccioni confirms the club officials are already working on new signings.
The talented tactician has admitted the Neroazzurri are stepping up their interest in Ezequiel Lavezzi and Mattia Destro.
“Our directors are already working to get Inter back to great levels and I can reveal that some negotiations are well advanced,” Stramaccioni told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Destro has had a great season and he has demonstrated his value. Lavezzi, meanwhile, has shown this term that he can make a difference on the international stage.”
The Napoli forward has a €31 million release clause inserted in his contract and he is expected to leave San Paolo at the end of the season.
Mattia Destro, who was named in provisional Italy squad for Euro 2012, is co-owned by Siena and Genoa, and has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs.
