Competition: League One
Market: Blackpool to be relegated
Odds: 4/7 @ William Hill
Blackpool suffered defeat to Doncaster Rovers during the international break, and their loss to The Vikings saw them end the weekend in the League One relegation zone. Currently 21st in the table after 17 games, the Seasiders are having a woeful time on and off the pitch, and there are growing fears Blackpool could suffer relegation again.
The Tangerines dropped down from the Championship in 2014/15, with a lack of first-team players and constant off-field distractions playing a part in their demise. Little has changed months later, and Blackpool are expected to be one of the first sides down in the third tier. The defeat to Rovers was their third consecutive loss in the division, and their nine overall.
Only one side in the league have scored less goals than Blackpool, and only one win in six sees the relegation-threatened outfit in poor form at the worst possible time. Fleetwood, Barnsley and Crewe are below them in the table, but Blackpool are showing little signs of getting out of the bottom four. As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 4/7 for the Seasiders to suffer relegation this season from League One.
