Competition: Premier League
Market: Chelsea to win against Southampton
Odds: 5/6 @ 888 Sport

Chelsea host Southampton in the Premier League this afternoon, and are looking to get back to winning ways after dropping points in their last two games in all competitions. The Blues are enduring a woeful title defence this season, and are currently 15th in the Premier League ahead of today’s clash at Stamford Bridge. They could well return to winning ways given Southampton’s woeful away form in the league, however.

Jose Mourinho’s men lost in their last Champions League game away to FC Porto, and will be desperate to deliver a positive response as a result. Seven games into the new season, the Londoners have lost more games than they’ve won in the Premier League so far, but they have picked up four points from their last two in the division to threaten some momentum.

Southampton have drawn their last two league meetings with Chelsea, but their away form could see them coming unstuck at the Bridge this time round. The Saints haven’t won on the road this season, and have picked up only six points from their away games in the league since January. As a result, 888 Sport are giving odds of 5/6 for Chelsea to win against Southampton today.
