Competition: Premier League
Market: Wet Ham to win against Newcastle
Odds: 7/2 @ Ladbrokes

West Ham United travel to face Newcastle United in the Premier League this afternoon, with both sides in woeful form this year. Newcastle have home advantage ahead of today’s fixture, but are coming off the back of 10 defeats from their last 12 games in the division, and will be very nervy playing in front of angry home supporters who will be chanting for the club owner to leave.

It’s going to be a very negative atmosphere in one of their most important games in years, which could well see West Ham take advantage. The visitors have been woeful themselves, but have shown far more promise in their performances in recent weeks than the North-East club have. Newcastle won their last league meeting, but this afternoon’s clash could see a different outcome.

West Ham’s desperation to end the season on a high in what could be manager Sam Allardyce’s last game for the London club should lead them to give Newcastle a really hard afternoon. They want to hit 50 points for the campaign, and are 7/2 with Ladbrokes to achieve their objective today.
