Bundesliga side Stuttgart have moved to confirm they are interested in signing Lyon footballers Gueida Fofana and Miguel Lopes.
The Swabians are already planning to reinforce the squad ahead of the 2014/2015 season and it appears they will be shopping in France.
According to club’s sporting director Fredi Bobic, the Swabians are set to make a move on Guieda Fofana and Miguel Lopes.
“These are the players that we have on our radar. But, the decision as to which player we will sign will only be made in the spring,” Bobic was quoted as saying in Bild.
Gueida Fofana is a holding midfielder who recently managed to nail down a regular starting berth at Stade Gerland, making 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
However, with his contract due to expire in June 2015, the 22-year-old could be available for sale next summer.
Meanwhile, Miguel Lopes has made the right-back position his own since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in the summer, but he is due to report back at Estadio Jose Alavalade when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
