Stuttgart trio set for January exit

German daily Bild understands that at least three players will leave Stuttgart in the January transfer window.

The Swabians are likely to enter the market for new reinforcements, but they also plan to offload a number of fringe players at the earliest opportunity.

According to Bild, Cristian Molinaro, Tunay Torun and Patrick Funk should be the first players to leave Mercedes-Benz Arena.

The Italian full-back may have been a first team regular in the past, but he hasn’t even made the squad in the last ten official matches.

With his current contract due to expire at the end of the season, the Swabians will attempt to sell him for a nominal fee in January.

Meanwhile, Tunay Torun and Patrick Funk are also in a similar situation, having failed to make a single Bundesliga appearance this season between them, which is enough to suggest they will be offloaded as well in the near future.
