Suarez heading to Juventus?

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is currently over in the Spanish city of Barcelona to discuss the potential signing of Luis Suarez. The Uruguay international has been edging closer and closer towards leaving the Nou Camp over the last few months, with the belief being that they’re willing to sacrifice him in case Neymar makes his way back to the club.

Suarez has been a loyal servant at the top of the European game for a while now, making a lasting impact with both Barcelona and Liverpool in equal measure.

Suarez may be moving into the twilight of his career but he is certainly considered to be a consistent goalscorer, even after all this time.

If he made the switch to the Italian champions there’s no guarantee that he would get any starting time, but at the very least, he’d be a great back-up option.
