Liverpool have agreed the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, according to the Mirror.
The Uruguay international is set to travel to Spain next week in order to complete a medical ahead of signing a five-year deal with the Catalan club.
Suarez moved to Anfield in January 2011 and went on to score eighty-two goals in one hundred and thirty-three appearances, thirty-one of which came in the Premier League last season to clinch him the Golden Boot.
He also won the League Cup in 2012, though with the highs during his time on the Merseyside club’s books have come a number of lows.
Last month he bit Italy defender Giorgio Chellini in his side’s final group game – an action which has seen him banned from football for four months, which means he won’t be able to feature for Luis Enrique’s side until October.
Barcelona are second favourites behind Real Madrid to clinch the La Liga title next season at 11/10.
