Suarez to move to MLS?

Luis Suarez wants to move to the MLS some day, according to Nicolas Lodeiro of Seattle Sounders. Lodeiro is a 60-cap Uruguay international and a good friend of the Barcelona striker.

As relayed by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Souners attacking midfielder says Suarez constantly asks him questions about the American league, outlining a clear desire to move there in the future. Suarez wanted to play for Barcelona, and has been doing so at the highest level possible for five years since he joined from Liverpool. He feels happy at the Camp Nou, but Lodiero is certain his international teammate will eventually play in the USA.

Of course, Lodeiro would love the striker’s destination to be Seattle, but he is under no illusions about the possibility being ‘remote’. Nonetheless, he has told Suarez that the MLS would be waiting for him whenever he feels the time is right for him to cross the Atlantic again.
