A report from the Liverpool Echo is suggesting that Liverpool striker Luis Suarez would consider a move in the summer if a team playing Champions League football came in for him.
The Uruguayan has been superb in the English Premier League this campaign and is the league’s leading scorer, so it is no surprise that he is the subject of plenty of speculation.
The Reds don’t look like landing a space in the top four of the top flight this season, which could be a big blow to their chances of keeping Suarez as he clearly wants to test himself at the highest level.
Although he is loved by Liverpool fans and is enjoying his football at Anfield, it would be tough for him to say no to a club playing in Europe’s elite compeition.
Of course, it is going to take a substantial amount of money to lure the forward away from Merseyside, but Bayern Munich have shown an interest in him in the past and could make their move in the summer.
It is certainly a fascinating story to keep an eye on and is Suarez is available, a number of clubs are sure to fight for his signature.
