La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna have moved to announce that Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has been training with the first team squad.
The 33-year-old has been without a club since leaving Pescara in the summer, and he was now invited for a trial at Riazor.
New Deportivo boss Clarence Seedorf probably had a key role to play in inviting Muntari to La Coruna and it remains to be seen whether the experienced midfielder will be offered a new contract.
The footballer’s career has been on a downtrend ever since he left AC Milan for Al Ittihad, but he did well to make 9 Serie A appearances for Pescara last term, scoring one goal.
However, Muntari was not offered a new deal as Delfini were relegated to Serie B, but could now receive a lifeline from former Rossoneri teammate Clarence Seedorf.
