(GSM) – West Ham United chairman David Sullivan is pleased following the club enjoyed an active period in the summer’s transfer window.
Sullivan seemed thrilled after Lars Jacobsen made a last-gasp switch to Upton Park from Blackburn Rovers.
Jacobsen, who arrived with Belgian keeper Ruud Boffin from Dutch outfit MVV, is the Hammers’ ninth summer signing after Thomas Hitzlsperger, Tal Ben Haim, Winston Reid, Pablo Barrera, Frederic Piruionne and Victor Obinna all joined the club.
Sullivan told the club`s official website: “We have combined youth with experience this window and are pleased with the work we have done, even in these challenging times for the club.”
