Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan has criticised the City of London police after he was arrested in connection with the inquiry into alleged corruption in English football.

Sullivan was held earlier this month with managing director Karren Brady on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting before being released on bail, but the pair have vehemently denied any wrongdoing and now Sullivan has accused the police of acting in an underhand way.

He told BBC´s Inside Sport: “While they were questioning me, they sneakily sent teams here with search warrants to turn my house upside down. It makes you feel like you have been invaded.”
