With the Premier League making its return from November’s international break this weekend, we certainly have a stacked top-flight schedule on our hands.

Watching Manchester City welcome bitter rivals Liverpool to the Etihad on Saturday lunchtime, the likes of Newcastle and Chelsea will also steal centre stage.

Ahead of a heavyweight Premier League fixture list throughout Saturday, we have taken an in-depth look at some of the most intriguing betting markets that are available.

Saturday, November 25th

12:30 Manchester City vs Liverpool

Eventually heading into November’s international break with last-gasp heartbreak away at Chelsea as they had to settle for a remarkable 4-4 draw, Pep Guardiola’s superstar squad will be desperate to make a heavyweight statement here. Despite dropping points at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month, Pep Guardiola’s side are tipped as a standout contender to make more Premier League history this season.

Becoming the first English club since 1999 to be crowned treble champions back in June, Saturday’s hosts mark their return on Saturday lunchtime holding a one-point buffer over the chasing pack.

Breezing their way to the Champions League knockout stage and winning each of their four Group G showdowns by an aggregate score of 12-3, City have also gained a fearsome reputation for their free-scoring performances in the final third.

In fact, the Sky Blues have bagged a stunning 21 strikes on their recent six-match unbeaten romp and they should be excited to make a return to the Etihad this weekend.

On the flip side, while Liverpool might have been left hugely frustrated last season as they missed out on the chance to claim a top-four finish, Jurgen Klopp’s men have come roaring back this time around.

Heading into the fortnight interval with a routine 3-0 romp against Brentford, the Premier League giants have already collected 17 points from their first 12 top-flight appearances and some around Anfield have their sights set on mounting a genuine title charge.

However, facing a real challenge here, the former Borussia Dortmund boss should have a mild headache over his side’s extended issues on the road.

Including an action-packed 3-2 loss at the hands of Toulouse while on Europa League duties on November 9th, Klopp’s side have won just one of their last five showdowns outside of Merseyside.

Manchester City vs Liverpool Best Betting Markets:

  • Manchester City win @ 8/11 with 1xBet
  • Both teams to score @ 3/5 with BetUS
  • Mohamed Salah to have over 0.5 shots on target @ 4/5 with Pribet

15:00 Newcastle vs Chelsea

Although Newcastle might have enjoyed a record-breaking romp last season as they secured a famous top-four finish, the Magpies do mark their return on Saturday afternoon in the midst of a minor wobble. Dealing with what has quickly become an injury nightmare at St. James’ Park, Eddie Howe’s side will be hoping to claim a crucial boost in the north east this weekend.

However, potentially unable to call upon up to 14 first-team stars here, Newcastle have recorded just a pair of wins from any of their previous six appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to October 21st.

Last seen heading into November’s international break with back-to-back 2-0 losses against Bournemouth and Borussia Dortmund respectably, Howe’s side will be desperate to make a return to home soil on Saturday afternoon.

Despite facing an uphill battle in their bid to punch a stunning Champions League knockout stage ticket this year, the Magpies have won six of their last seven contests at St. James’ Park.

As for Chelsea, eventually heading into the fortnight interval with a thrilling 4-4 stalemate at home against defending Premier League champions Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have turned a recent corner.

Spring a real upset on November 6th as they landed a 4-1 victory away at local rivals Tottenham, the ex-Spurs boss has seen his squad suffer just a single defeat from any of their last six domestic showdowns.

Gaining a recent reputation for their clinical performances in the final third and bagging eight goals in their back-to-back Premier League outings, Saturday’s guests have also won their previous three contests outside of SW6 by an aggregate score of 10-2.

Despite facing a stern examination this weekend, some in Pochettino’s camp could be smelling the chance to spring an upset.

Newcastle vs Chelsea Best Betting Markets:

  • Both teams to score @ 7/10 with Olympusbet
  • Nicolas Jackson to be shown a card @ 19/10 with Dachbet
  • Anthony Gordon to have over 0.5 shots on target @ 5/6 with Luckster

17:30 Brentford vs Arsenal

While Arsenal might have opened November with a minor wobble, the Gunners certainly came roaring back prior to the international break. Last seen claiming a thrilling 3-1 win at home against relegation scrappers Burnley, it is no secret that Mikel Arteta’s young squad have their sights firmly set on mounting another Premier League title charge this season.

Desperate to get their hands on a first domestic crown since 2004, the Gunners mark their return on Saturday evening sat just a single point adrift of climbing to the top of the table.

Enjoying what has been a hugely impressive Champions League adventure this year and in pole position to punch their knockout stage ticket, the one-time Manchester City coach has seen his side suffer just a single top-flight defeat from their first 12 appearances.

Although Arsenal might have shown some recent issues away from the Emirates over the past couple of months, Arteta’s title contenders will be excited to make a trip across the capital this weekend.

On the flip side, heading into the fortnight interval with a routine 3-0 drumming against Liverpool, Brentford do have the feel of a squad seeking some stability.

While that 3-0 loss at Anfield might have drawn a line under Thomas Frank’s three-match winning run, the Bees have won just a trio of their previous 12 appearances across all competitions within 90 minutes.

With that run stemming back to August 19th, Saturday’s hosts almost find themselves sat in Premier League limbo.

Crashing out of the EFL Cup at the hands of Arsenal back on September 27th as they suffered a 1-0 loss in west London, Brentford will be more than aware that they face another stern challenge here.

Brentford vs Arsenal Best Betting Markets:

  • Arsenal win @ 8/11 with Vegas Land
  • Kristoffer Ajer to be shown a card @ 17/4 with Olympusbet
  • Bukayo Saka to have over 0.5 shots on target @ 5/6 with BetUS
