Sunderland eye Bristol City’s Sammie Szmodics

Sunderland are interested in signing Sammie Szmodics from Bristol City in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The Black Cats, who are in League One at the moment, are keeping tabs on the 24-year-old Championship player.

Szmodics is a versatile attacking player who can operate as a winger as well as in a more advanced midfield role. The 24-year-old has been on the books of Championship club City since the summer of 2019, but he has failed to make a huge impact at the Robins.
