Sunderland eyeing Dynamo Kiev duo

Premier League strugglers Sunderland are preparing for the January transfer window in effort to increase their survival bid this season.

The Black Cats are looking for reinforcements in defence and attack with two names already topping the wish list.

Dynamo Kiev central defender Domagoj Vida has been on Sunderland radar for quite some time and the Black Cats are reportedly eager to come back for the Croatian international after refusing to pay £10 million for his services during summer.

Vida has two years remaining in his contract and Dynamo Kiev are thought to be willing to let him go during winter.

Another name linked with a move to Sunderland during January is Vida’s teammate Lukasz Teodorczyk, currently on loan at Belgian giants Anderlecht.

The 25-year-old striker has so far scored an impressive 15 goals in just 19 appearances and the Black Cats will have great competition for his signature.

West Ham, Stoke City, Everton and West Bromwich Albio have all been registering an interest for the forward, who is also eyed by the likes of AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
