Sunderland are weighing up loan move for Manchester City striker John Guidetti, according to Daily Mail.
Having slipped into the Premier League danger zone, the Black Cats are desperate to kick-start their season with several high-profile signings in the January transfer window.
Considering the big problems in the scoring department, Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill is tipped to make a move for Manchester City’s John Guidetti.
Guidetti, 20, returned to the Etihad following a very successful loan spell at Feyenoord, but has failed to make a single appearance this season after picking up a paralysis virus in April.
The Sweden international is, however, nearing full fitness and is likely to be farmed out on loan come January transfer window.
Martin O’Neill would certainly be taking a gamble with the striker who has been out of action for more than six months, but it appears this is a gamble he is willing to take.
