The Premier League strugglers Sunderland have spread their web wide around Europe, scouting for potential summer signings all across the continent.
David Moyes and his associates used the free weekend to visit several matches in Scotland, Greece and Serbia, according to Sunderland Echo as they decided to check up on several transfer targets.
One of the talented few currently being eyed by the Black Cats is Luka Adzic, the 18-year-old Crvena Zvezda talent, who is seen as one of the brightest prospects in the Serbian football. Sunderland representatives were in Belgrade for the Eternal Derby against Partizan, whereas the scouts of the English side followed the boy in another high-profile match against Vojvodina Novi Sad.
The Black Cats face a battle to sign the talented youngster who has been closely watched by Arsenal and Manchester City.
The 18-year-old talent has only emerged into Crvena Zveda’s first-team this season, but he managed to turn plenty of heads with two goals in the Serbian Super Liga and a string of impressive performances for his club.
