(GSM) – Benoit Cheyrou has vowed to stay at Olympique Marseille.

The versatile midfielder had been linked with a move to Sevilla and Sunderland but sees his future at the Stade Velodrome.

The younger brother of former Liverpool midfielder Bruno told Canal Plus: “Yes, I am staying. We had talked about a move away at the end of the season and the press talked up potential transfer targets.

“I never said that I wanted to leave this club. I love this club and I’m looking forward to next season.”
