Sunderland are looking at least €30 million in transfer fees for Chris Rigg, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that Manchester United, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Brighton and Hove Albion, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers all are monitoring the 17-year-old attacking midfielder.
Rigg is one of the best young players in the lower leagues in England and has done well for Sunderland since establishing himself in the first team. The England Under-18 international has made 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship so far this season, scoring three goals in the process. Rigg scored two goals in eight starts and 13 substitute appearances in the Championship last season.
Sunderland are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 30 points from 14 matches, two points ahead of Sheffield United, who are second. The Black Cats are four points ahead of third-placed Leeds United.
