Sunderland are interested in signing Amad Diallo from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. Diallo had a loan spell at Sunderland last season, and the Championship club are keen on bringing the Ivory Coast international back to the Stadium of Light on a loan deal again.
Diallo is injured at the moment and is in his recovery phase. The 21-year-old, though, is expected to be back in training with United soon. TEAMtalk has claimed that the Red Devils are open to sending Diallo out on loan in the January transfer window, adding that Sunderland are confident of getting a deal done.
The winger scored 14 goals and gave three assists in 29 Championship starts for Sunderland last season. The Black Cats almost won promotion back to the Premier League. Sunderland are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 19 points from 11 matches.
