Tributes flowed after Borussia Dortmund’s team bus was hit by an explosion ahead of their Champions League quarter-final against Monaco.
Dortmund defender Marc Bartra was hurt as an explosion went off when the team bus left the hotel to travel to Signal Iduna Park approximately an hour before kick-off on Tuesday.
UEFA postponed the first-leg match and rescheduled it for Wednesday as Barta underwent surgery on a broken wrist.
The football world was rocket by the news and clubs and players from across Europe showed their support via social media.
