If the reports from various Italian media outlets are to be believed, Premier League runners-up Liverpool are looking to bring Suso back to Anfield.
The AC Milan playmaker has been in fine form for Rossoneri this season and is reportedly eyed as a perfect replacement for Brazilian magician Philippe Coutinho who moved to Barcelona this winter.
Suso has gone from strength to strength over the past two seasons since leaving the Anfield-based club and his emergence in Italy helped him land a call-up to the Spanish national team.
The Italian media reports Suso is under a €40 million release clause which should not be a problem for Liverpool. The Anfield-based club published the encouraging financial reports this month and are expected to reward Jurgen Klopp with a hefty transfer kitty next summer.
Suso is a technically gifted player who is capable of filling in at both wings as well as an attacking midfielder where his vision and creativity are best displayed.
The 24-year-old Spaniard made 23 Serie A appearances for AC Milan, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists.
