Swansea 21/10 to beat Derby in Wednesday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Swansea win

Odds: 21/10 @ Bet 365

Two sides enjoying a very bright end to the season, playoff hopefuls Derby will travel to a resurgent Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, after playing out a 2-2 draw with Hull last weekend, Swansea have enjoyed a very eye-catching end to the season. With the chance to climb as high as eighth in midweek, Graham Poter’s side have now lost just one of their last eight Championship matchups. Led by leading goalscorer Oliver McBurnie who has now bagged 21 league goals this season, the Swans have continued to shine at the Liberty Stadium. The Whites have remarkably lost just one match in South Wales since the end of December and have now scored two or more goals in 12 of their last 13 matches on home soil.

As for the visitors, picking up a 2-0 win over Bristol City last weekend, Derby have reclaimed their spot in the playoffs and are enjoying a four-match unbeaten run. While Derby have moved into pole position to book a top six finish, Lampard’s side have famously struggled on their trips outside of Derbyshire. The former England midfielder has seen his side record just one victory on the road in their last eight Championship matchups away from Pride Park. Also recording just two clean sheets on their travels in 2019, we’re backing the Swans to extend their winning run in South Wales.
