Swansea 6/4 to beat Birmingham in Friday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Swansea win

Odds: 6/4 @ Bet 365

Looking to mount an immediate push back to the Premier League, Swansea will travel to the St. Andrew’s Stadium on Friday night hoping to make it three wins on the bounce.

Starting with the hosts, although many in the Midlands had hoped Birmingham would be fair better this time around, it has been a sluggish start for Gary Monk’s side. Making 10 changes for their EFL Cup matchup away at Reading in midweek, The Blues slumped to a 2-0 loss at the Madejski. Along with crashing out of the Cup at the first hurdle, Birmingham have failed to win any of their two opening Championship matches and more worrying for the former Middlesbrough manager, his side have now failed to find the net in their last two outings.

As for the visitors, although they appeared to be struggling to adjust to life under former Ostersunds manager Graham Potter, Swansea have turned their form around when it was most needed. Picking up a 1-0 win over last years playoff contenders Preston, The Whites also battled back valiantly from falling behind to leave Sheffield United with all three points. Now winning both their opening Championship games, we’re backing The Swans to extend their run to three wins on the bounce.
