Swansea City 9/5 to beat Leicester in Saturday’s Premier League game

Competition: Premier League

Market: Swansea to beat Leicester

Odds: 9/5 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns this weekend as England’s top league enters its ninth game week. With gaps starting to appear between the top and the bottom teams, every single side in the league will be desperate to pick up three points, be it for their title challenge or their relegation fight. Two sides that are more likely to be involved in the latter are Swansea and Leicester, who go head-to-head on Saturday.

Swansea City enjoyed a very good 2-0 win over Huddersfield last weekend as they finally got back to winning ways. Paul Clement’s men were able to drag themselves out of the relegation zone for the time being, but the threat of the bottom three still looms large. While they have only scored five goals this season, they have been fairly solid at the back, conceding just eight times. The Welsh side will fancy themselves at home too, with the Liberty Stadium a difficult place to go to and win.

Leicester, on the other hand, are currently languishing in 18th place with just six points from their opening eight games. 1o goals scored is a decent return, but they have picked the ball out of their own net 13 times which is what has been hurting them so much. Indeed, their start has been so poor that their manager Craig Shakespeare was relieved of his duties this week, leaving them without a leader and in the bottom three. With this in mind, Swansea will fancy themselves and Bet365 have given them odds of 5/9 to beat Leicester.
