Swansea City have slapped a £50m price tag on in-demand defender Alfie Mawson, according to the Daily Star.
The twenty-three year old has been a shining light for the South Wales side this season in spite of their troubles and has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
West Ham United have expressed their interest in signing the twenty-three year old, whilst Everton and Celtic are also monitoring the situation though the Swans have tried to deter offers with their high valuation.
Mawson moved to the Liberty Stadium from Barnsley for £5m in the summer of 2016, and has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal.
Since completing that switch, he has established himself as a first team regular and should he play against Newcastle United at the weekend it would be his fiftieth appearance in the Premier League.
Internationally, he has been capped six times for England’s U21s, scoring once.
