Premier League side Swansea City are believed to have launched an audacious loan bid to sign Bayern Munich outcast Renato Sanches before the transfer window closes this week.
The Portugal youngster has been told he can leave the Allianz Arena after failing to impress since his £27.5 million move from Benfica and has been linked with a move to several high-profile European clubs.
However, the Swans have emerged as the outside favourites to land the 20-year-old after it was reported by the Times that Sanches himself could be interested in moving to south Wales to work with Paul Clement once again.
The Swans can be found at 2/1 betting odds to land the talented playmaker who can operate in a number of positions in the final third.
Having worked with the Portuguese starlet as Carlo Ancelotti’s No.2 last season, Clement is confident he could persuade Sanches to move to the Liberty Stadium in what would surely be one of the most surprising transfer stories this summer.
Liverpool, Chelsea, AC Milan, AS Monaco and PSG were among the clubs that kept an eye on the Bayern Munich player.
