Swansea still find themselves rooted to the bottom spot in the Premier League table, but to their credit they have been linked with a number of high profile names in a bid to turn their season around.
It is Andre Ayew who is the latest name on their list however, and the Swans are keen on bringing him back to the Liberty Stadium, despite having a £14m bid rejected by West Ham, according to BBC Sport.
The Ghanaian international spent just a single season at the Welsh club, but was one of their key players during that 2015/16 campaign. His brother Jordan currently plies his trade at Swansea, and a reunion would certainly give the side a boost in their fight for survival.
Ayew has registered three goals and two assists so far this season, and it could take a club record fee of over £15.5m for Carlos Carvalhal to secure the forward’s services. Whether David Moyes is willing to let Ayew go is another matter, especially given the recent injury to Andy Carroll.
