Swansea City are still hopeful of concluding a head for Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente, according to the Daily Star.
The South Wales outfit are keen to bring in a striker after letting Bafetimbi Gomis, Eder and Alberto Paloschi move on this summer and have identified the Spain international as their top target.
The thirty-one year old is set to cost the Swans £5m, and talks are ongoing between the two clubs.
Llorente only moved to Sevilla last summer and racked up thirty-one appearances for the La Liga side in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
Prior to his return to Spain, he spent two seasons with Juventus playing for them ninety-two times, scoring twenty-seven goals and helping them win back-to-back Serie A titles and the 2015 Coppa Italia while he also played in the Champions League final defeat to Barcelona fifteen months ago.
He has been capped twenty-four times for his country and was part of the squads that won the World Cup in 2010 and the European Championships two years later.
