Swansea City have warned potential suitors that Wilfried Bony will cost £19m, the Daily Star understands.
The Ivory Coast international, who is currently preparing for this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, bagged an impressive twenty-five goals in all competitions in his debut season with the Swans.
Arsenal, West Ham United and Newcastle United have all been linked with a move for the 25 year old, but they will have to lay out £7m more than the South Wales paid to Vitesse Arnhem a year ago if they are to secure his services.
Bony began his career in his home country with Issia Wazi before moving on to Sparta Prague in 2007 initially on loan, and then to Vitesse in 2011.
Internationally, the striker has eight goals in twenty-three appearances, and he is priced at 7/1 to finish as his side’s top scorer at the World Cup.
Ivory Coast’s campaign begins on Sunday, June 15th against Japan in Recife.
