West Ham United and Everton are ready to battle to secure the services of Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to the Mirror.
The South Wales side are keen to keep hold of the Iceland international but may be powerless to do so if they lose their Premier League status.
Despite his sides’ struggles, Sigurdsson has been in fine form this season playing every one of their league games, scoring nine goals and racking up twelve assists.
Since signing for them from Tottenham Hotspur three years ago the twenty-seven year old has racked up one hundred and twenty-nine appearances for the Swans in all competitions, scoring thirty-seven goals while he also played for them nineteen times during a loan spell in the 2011/12 campaign.
Paul Clement’s side travel to relegated Sunderland on Saturday afternoon looking for a win that could secure their top flight status, and the away victory can be backed at 1/1.
