(GSM) – Malmö FF moved a little closer to the top of the Swedish league with a 2-0 win over Trelleborg on Sunday.

Currently placed second behind Helsingborg, Malmö were never really troubled in their home match with Trelleborg and took the lead through Jimmy Durmaz in the 25th minute.

Guillermo Molins added a second to leave the game all but decided with four minutes to go.

Reigning champions AIK of Stockholm suffered yet another defeat, losing 1-2 to Djurgarden, and remain in penultimate place.

Things began well for AIK as Antonio Flavio scored the opening goal in the second minute, but goals from Joel Perovuo (38th) and Johan Oremo (73rd) turned things around in Djurgarden’s favor.
