Blackburn Rovers are close to signing 15-year-old striker Filip Pivkovski from Swedish side Malmo.
The Swedish starlet has already trained with the Premier League side and Rovers are keen to agree a deal for the kid as soon as possible.
“He is a very gifted striker from our academy,” Malmo youth coach Staffan Tapper told Aftonbladet.
“Blackburn were pleased with him after his try-out and have now asked him if he would be interested in moving.
“It is now up to him.”
“We ourselves are on the look-out for young players, so there is nothing strange about that. Blackburn have approached us in the correct manner, going first to the club and not behind our backs,” added Tapper.
