Swindon boss confirms Blackpool move for striker

Swindon manager Danny Wilson has revealed Blackpool have made an move for striker Charlie Austin.

The 21-year-old has recently been linked with a number of clubs, but Blackpool are keen to win the race for the striker.

“I said on Tuesday that I expect Charlie to be with us until I hear something different,” said Wilson.

“There’s one offer that’s getting fairly close, which is Blackpool, but apart from that we’ve had nothing else.

“It makes no difference to me, we have to prepare for games with the players we have at our disposal, and Charlie is still with us.”
