Switzerland forward Innocent Emeghara has revealed that he could soon join an English Premier League side.
The highly rated footballer was released from his contract as Siena went into liquidation this summer and it comes as a surprise that he is still without a club.
Several Serie A sides are believed to be interested in his signature, but it appears the 25-year-old wanted to assess all his options before making a decision on his future.
Emeghara has now suggested that he is negotiating with sides from England and is looking forward to finding a new club as soon as possible.
“I am a free agent and I am currently in England to talk to several interested parties,” Emeghara told Sky Sports.
“It has been a dream of mine to play in England as I believe English football is the best in the world and I feel my game suits playing in England.
“I want to find myself a new club as soon as possible and get back to playing and scoring goals so that I can get back in the Switzerland team.”
Innocent Emeghara moved to Siena from Lorient in January 2013 on a six-month loan, before the club made his stay permanent after he scored 7 goals in 17 Serie A outings.
The Switzerland international was then loaned to Livorno, where he managed 4 goals in 30 appearances.
