Swiss defender keen on San Siro stay

Swiss international defender Philippe Senderos has admitted he would like to stay at AC Milan for next season.

The 24-year-old is on loan from Arsenal and his loan deal will expire this summer, but Senderos is keen on making the move permanent.

“I had a tough start to the season because of my injury problems,” he admitted on the Milan Channel.

“But I worked very hard and I was able to give my full contribution during the second half of the campaign when the boss decided to give me an opportunity.

“I would like to stay at Milan because I like it here, but I know that the decision isn’t mine to make.”
