Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Hungarian midfielder Scabolcs Huszti from Changchun Yatai.
The 32-year-old joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a deal until June 2017 with the Eagles.
Huszti thus became club’s second signing of the January transfer window, with Mexican midfielder Marco Fabian previously joining from Guadalajara in a reported $4 million deal.
Having finished the first part of the campaign mere two points above the relegation zone, the Eagles were keen to reinforce their ranks during the winter break and the first signs have been more than positive.
Szabolcs Huszti has been widely regarded as one of Bundesliga’s leading midfielders during the two stints with Hannover, having managed impressive 36 goals in 134 league outings.
He has spent last year and a half in China with Changchun Yatai, scoring 9 goals in 39 league appearances.
