Serie A heavyweights Napoli have identified Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as one of the top solutions for their burning issue.
Partenopei No. 1 Pepe Reina has seen his relationship with the club deteriorate dramatically over the past couple of month and the Spanish shot stopper is likely to leave Napoli with a move to Newcastle and his former boss Rafa Benitez already mooted.
In the meantime, Nbapoli have begun search for possible replacements and the Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who spent last two seasons playing at AS Roma, has emerged to the forefront.
According to the reports coming from Il Matino, Napoli and Arsenal have already opened talks over the player who will not be returning to London next season.
Szczesny himself is keen to remain in Italy and is believed to have given the nod to Partenopei, thus encouraging them to pursue a deal with the Gunners.
The 27-year-old Polish goalkeeper has this season made 38 appearances for AS Roma.
