Taarabt could face QPR sack

Adel Taarabt’s days at Queens Park Rangers appear to be numbered as his manager Hary Redknapp declared that he was not fit enough to play, TalkSport understands.

The Morocco international has played just twenty-three minutes of league football for the Hoops so far this season with his last appearance coming as a late substitute in the 2-0 loss to West Ham United earlier this month – one of six defeats from their eight games so far.

The midfielder will be given the opportunity to regain his fitness, but if he fails to cooperate, he could be lawfully dismissed according to leading employment lawyer Irwin Mitchell.

QPR are rooted to the bottom of the league with just four points and could be as many as seven from safety by the time they host Aston Villa next Monday and are odds on to be relegated back to the Championship at a price of 2/7.
