Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Taddei is on the verge of leaving Stadio Olimpico.
The experienced midfielder has received an offer from United Arab Emirates, and he is likely to accept it considering he is no longer regarded as an important part of the squad at Roma.
Taddei has one year left on his deal at Stadio Olimpico, meaning he can leave for a nominal fee this summer.
The 33-year-old is one of Roma’s longest serving players having joined the club back in 2005, and he has since made no less than 205 Serie A appearances, scoring 23 goals.
However, after featuring in mere four league games last term, it was clear that the summer exit was on the cards.
While starting his career as a winger, Taddei was more recently used as a full-back, although he clearly prefers being played in a more advanced role.
