Taddei signs new Roma deal

Brazilian winger Rodrigo Ferrante Taddei has signed a new contract with Roma that will see him stay with the Giallorossi till June 2014. Taddei has been with the Eternal City outfit since 2005 after joining them on a free transfer from Siena.

As per the figures released by the club, it appears Taddei has earned a salary increase. His last contract saw him earning € 2.23M a year, which has now been raised to €2.8M a year. However in the last season ( 2013/14), Taddei will earn only €1.9M.  These figures however do not include any performance related bonuses.

Taddei is one of  eight Brazilians who currently ply their trade for Roma. He however holds dual Italian citizenship and has never played for the Brazilian national team.
