Although Takefusa Kubo, the wonder boy known as the ‘Japanese Messi’ signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid only this past June, rumours are swirling that he might be going to another “royal” club – Real Valladolid, AS reports.
The news of the 18-year-old’s alleged move was reported late night on Wednesday by the Spanish journalist Josep Pedrerol, but Real Valladolid have yet to confirm the news. What is more, the report claims that the two clubs’ representatives were surprised when the outlet asked them to comment on what Pedrerol had said.
The attacking midfielder’s loan would not be unprecedented, as the two clubs have a good working relationship and Real Valladolid has already got a couple of other players on loan from Los Blancos until June 2020: defender – centre-back Javi Sánchez and forward – right winger Jorge de Frutos.
However, sources close to Ronaldo’s club claim it is not likely the move will take place this season and that the Japanese national will stay put, playing for Real Madrid’s “B” side during the 2019/2020 season as previously planned.
