Edouardo Camavinga is quickly becoming one of the more sought-after players in Europe. Playing as a defensive midfielder with a maturity far beyond his 17 years of age, he has been among the surprises of the season in Ligue 1 so far. Recently, reports have been emerging linking him to some of the biggest clubs on the continent, such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, one thing is certain – he will not be leaving Rennes before the end of the season. That is according to the club president, Olivier Letang, who also says he would have loved to keep the player for at least 10 more years. However, Letang is aware of the ways of the transfer market, and there are also the wishes of the player himself to be taken into account.
Speaking to Telefoot, Letang has confirmed that there is strong interest in Camavinga’s services, but he’s adamant that no talks will be held before the summer.
